One of the favorite goals of great makeup lovers is to achieve a larger and more luminous look. Although at first you think that it is a makeup routine for those people who have smaller eyes or slightly drooping eyelids, we have to give you the good news that this ‘make up’ is suitable for anyone since we will be able to have an eye effect big and a look of scandal with fashionable eyebrows. Gather all your makeup essentials, your brushes, your concealer, shadows, eye pencil and mascara and follow all our expert’s advice to enlarge your eyes in five easy steps:
Apply Corrector On The Eye Contour
After applying your usual facial treatment, it’s time to improve the appearance of dark circles or bags with a corrector of your tone throughout the lower part of the eye. You shouldn’t have to use it in any other way than you do in your day-to-day to achieve a more radiant look without a trace of tiredness or lack of sleep.
Instead, to work on the eyelid area, we add an eyelid primer and a slightly lighter concealer than the one you used previously. Although there are pre-bases that have color already integrated, if you don’t have one we have a little trick! Mix your primer with concealer and you would already have a lighter tone, ideal for this area of the eyelids. Apply these products to the upper area of the eyes and, of course, do not forget the tear area. By having used a primer, we will make our eye makeup much more durable.
Finish this first step by applying translucent loose powder to the eyelid to seal the concealer with the primer and, in the next steps, it will help you better set the color pigments you use.
Get More Volume With Eye shadow
Choose three shades from your favorite eye shadow palette. To help you choose, you have to find: the first, very clear; the second, with a medium tone; and, finally, a darker one that will help us gain depth.
Start with the medium shade and apply it to the mobile eyelid. When you have finished, help yourself with a more closed brush with a pointed finish and now use the darkest shade: Look at yourself in the mirror, relax your muscles and see where the eye socket is located to apply this second shadow somewhat above this one area, until you get the tone you want and blend so that you do not mark expression lines.
Finally, we use the lightest tone so that we can obtain the points of light that will give us an immediate ‘lifting’ effect. To do this, apply it just below the eyebrow, with which we will “raise” this area; in the central area of the eyelid, to gain more volume; and in the tear duct. Use a small makeup brush if you want a more blurred effect or if you, on the contrary, you want to mark more the intensity of your makeup, help yourself with your fingertip.
It’s time to take the darker shade again and apply it a little below the lower lash line and you can see how your eye has increased in size.
Contours The Eye Line
With a dark eye pencil shade, it can be black or brown, whichever you prefer; outline the lash line, sticking the pencil well to the upper lashes to further mark their start. You do not need to create a perfect line since, to achieve a more natural makeup, finish by blurring this contour with a brush or a stick, being able to extend it slightly outwards.
Now, get another eye pencil in a beige tone to give you clarity and when applying it on the water line. You will be able to see how immediately you get a more almond-shaped or round eye, depending on the shape of your face.
Enhance Your Lashes
As a fundamental piece in eye makeup, we have to finish by applying the hair wax stick mascara. On the upper lashes, apply it from the beginning to the tips as many layers as you want to achieve an effect of greater volume, thickness and quantity. Don’t forget to run the tip of your slicky chick hair wax stick mascara applicator over your lower lashes to make them visible.
Profile Your Eyebrow
Lastly, using a brow pencil, tap into the highlights of your brow, adding weight at the start, peak and end to help lift your gaze.
